Installation error #1603

Hello,

I have VS 2008/Vista. Whenever I try to install the latest version of typemock, I get the error:

Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Typemock Isolator 5.3.0. Product Version: 5.3.0.0. Product Language: 1033. Installation success or error status: 1603.

Product: Typemock Isolator 5.3.0 -- Installation failed.

The installation process, as I click next through, simply gives me an error that an error occurred during the process and installation cannot continue. This is breaking an app because I uninstalled the old version.

Any ideas?

Hi Brian,

The reason for the error you've received could be because the user that runs the installer doesn't have administrator permissions.

Running using the computer's Administrator user should solve the issue.
