Hi,

What ever happened w/Jet Brains dotcover support? I see some threads back in spring 2010 saying support is planned but latest version of typemock does not seem to support it.

Thanx

Hi

We encountered some unexpected problems while working on the integration.
We are now working with Jetbrains to solve this.

Some friendly advice, don't count on this support. I am author of said previous posts and been waiting for a long time now.

I dropped DotCover, I will not use it. If Typemock doesn't start supporting more code coverage tools, then we'll drop it next.

Hi Ryan,

I'm very sorry you feel that way. Our integration problems are purely technical, and we're working as fast as we can to solve it. It's in our all best interests to get this working as soon as possible. This fix requires changes in both our and JetBrains products, so that's (one of the) reasons for the delay.

Agan, please accept our sincere apologies for this matter taking so long. We hope that it will be resolved soon.

@Typemock Support

Any new development regarding this issue since dotCover has gone RTM in the meantime? Would be great to see both Typemock and dotCover work together ...

Thx in advance for any infos you can share with the community! :)

Best regards.

Hi,

We are working with JetBrains to add support to their profilers in an upcoming version. As this is a joint effort and requires changes in all involved products, it will take us a few more weeks.

Update!

I got the following information from Jetbrains:
I'm sorry about the delays. I can only say that the support in
dotTrace/dotCover is implemented, we're waiting for the corresponding
part in TypeMock which should be ready, but they are performing some
testing. This integration will become a part of dotTrace
4.5.1/dotCover 1.1.1 releases which will be out in... yes, "few more
weeks". Sorry.

Not long now...

BTW, dotTrace 4.5.1/dotCover 1.1.1 are both in EAP already (mainly for Resharper 6 integration), not sure if that also covers TypeMock support.

It would be nice to have some kind of EAP for TypeMock also.
