I've installed Isolater v7. When it tries to run the tests, I get the following error in the output window in visual studio : "unexpected error when trying to run test : "

I have the following software:
Visual Studio 2010 SP1
Tyepmock v7 x64 configured with NCover 3.0 as a linked profiler.
Tests are MbUnit v3.3

In the configuration options, it keeps unlinking my profiler as well. I link it with NCover3.0 and when I go back into the Configuration, it is unlinked.

Hi,

I'd like to get some more details for reproducing it. I'll contact you offline.

After talking with support, the Typemock Auto-runner does not support MbUnit yet. It will in the future.

There is currently a bug in the Typemock Auto-runner that removes the linked profile whenever you load a solution in Visual Studio 2010. To get around this, you need to disable the Typemock Auto-runner in the Visual Studio Extensions Manager.

Hi,

Anyone encountered the bug with unlinking (Isolator automatically unlinked when opening solution), this bug is fixed. It'll be released next week in 7.0.3.

If anyone wants to access the fixed version before the release please contact our support and we'll send you a patch.

Hi,

I understand from Elisha's answer that it was supposed to be supported since 7.0.3.
I will check our archives and post the answer next week.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi,

In 7.0.3 only the bug was fixed.
MBUnit is yet to supported in Auto-Runner.
It is in our backlog and will be supported in the future.
