Hi,

I've been trying out TypeMock.NET and really love it so far. It solves alot of unit testing problems for me, is very easy to use, and is very powerful. Thank you very much for the effort you have put into creating this awesome tool.

One question lingers in my mind, however. Is TypeMock.NET always going to be a free product? The registration process and a few other details of your site lead me to believe this will become a commercial product, and you are building mindshare. I totally support you if this is what you are doing and would likely be williling to pay for this product. However, if this is going to be a commercial product, I'd like to know before spending more time with it. Specifically, I kind of need to know what price range it will be in, as I would need to make sure that I will be able to purchase it when it is no longer free.

Sorry if this question seems kind of rude, but I'd just like to get it out of the way, so I can continue plunging headlong into TypeMock. Thanks!

Suprisingly, we have more innovative features that we are going to be adding to TypeMock.NET. We are intending to have an Enterprise Edition that will include these features and a Free Community Edition without these features. In other words, all the features that can be downloaded for free are going to stay that way.

Specifically, I kind of need to know what price range it will be in.

Currently, I cannot answer this, but as I said the features that are now downloadable for free are going to stay that way.

I hope that these answers will allow you to continue plunging headlong into TypeMock

Awesome. That was the answer I was looking for. The mind seizes when trying to imagine what incredible feature the enterprise edition will have, given how already incredible the community edition is. I look forward to finding out and hopefully recommending purchase to many test driven developers.
