I am running the evaluation version of TypeMock. I am trying to remove the license by using the Configuration tool. If I click the Remove License button, the clearn the company name and license fields and close the Configuration tool the values are not saved. The next time I open the configuration tool the old company and license values are in the form. The registry values do not change either.

Is this a feature or a bug?

The reason this is a problem is that I can no longer run unit tests using community edition without the evaluation popup on each and every test.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi,

You have exceeded the evaluation license. That's what the dialog says. If you want to continue using the community features, you need to register through the dialog. You will then get a license for the community edition by email. Once you set the new license, you wont see the dialog again.

Let me know if you got this working.

Thanks,

In my license configuration I did not see a dialog or link to register for the community edition. My license has not expired, but has 7 days left, so that may be why I do not see a dialog to register. Can I register through the website, so I do not have to wait until the evaluation license expires?

Right now, while I am waiting for the evaluation license to expire I keep getting the popup telling me I have x days left. I would rather get the communit license now instead of waiting 6 or 7 days and needing to click 'continue with evaluation' in order to run each test.

Is asking or waiting for the trial period to end the only way to get a community license? I also have several days left in my evaluation period and would like a community license so I don't get a popup with every test.

Hi,
Currently it seems that we have a bug there.
So until we manage to fix that that may be the case.

I'm sending you the community license offline. let me know if it solves the issue for you.
