Hi All,

Am curious as to whether the Isolator Personal license has the capability to mock SharePoint classes?

If so, then what is the difference between Isolator Personal and Isolator for SharePoint?

Hi Mark,

Isolator personal is a fully featured version of Isolator intended for personal use (single developer) while Isolator for SharePoint is a version that only supports faking Sharepoint related classes but intended for commercial use.

Thanks dhelper,

Just to be sure are you saying that Isolator Personal can mock Share Point classes in addition to all sorts of other classes e.g. .Net, LINQ, etc?

If so then would it be plausable that a company could purchase for each of its developers a copy of Isolator Personal?

There are three general Typemock Isolator licenses.

1. Commercial - Can mock anything, for companies who develop software for commercial purposes

2. Personal - For a single developer working at home

3. for SharePoint - Can ONLY mock SharePoint types

As you can see a commercial company cannot purchase several personal licenses for each developer.

I hope this clarify things - please feel free to ask any questions if not.
